Visiting Cornwall

Lots of people contact the Cornwall Moth Group to say they are coming here on holiday, asking us the best places to visit and where to stay in Cornwall.
There is so much to do here and so many lovely places to stay in Cornwall that we have decided to compile a section of our web site to help you choose.
I have selected some of the things that I think visitors might be interested in and invited local business to advertise.
There are only a few things in this section at the moment but if you have any suggestions or if you would like to advertise your business here, please contact our Web Manager for more information.

Wild About Cornwall by David Chapman

This work is a celebration of the natural history of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly by David Chapman who is well known and accomplished wildlife photographer.
It features 40 Cornish sites, including the best places to see flora and fauna in a variety of habitats across the county and on the islands. It also suggests some of the best wildlife walks.

Grey Seals of the West Country

In this book, Stephen Westcott, known as "Cornwall's Seal Man", shares with us his explorations, his fascination and his concern about the grey seals and their world. He wrote the book to help fund the research of the Seal Group into the lives and habits of the seal. All the profits from the sale of this book help to keep Stephen's important work going.

Cornwall Seasons

'Cornwall Seasons' is a celebration of Cornwall's wonderful countryside, its flora and fauna, its beauty and diversity. Containing over 150 remarkable colour photographs of the wildlife and landscapes of West Cornwall, this is a book to be treasured by all those who love this unique landscape.
Conservationist and ornithologist, Roy Phillips, is our personal guide through a typical year exploring the wildlife of West Cornwall. His sure-footed journey through both the natural and man-made landscape of the region is vividly portrayed through his blend of expert knowledge and personal anecdote, recalling the Cornwall of his childhood.
