Rospannel Farm is about 5 miles from Land's End in Penwith, West Cornwall and is owned Cornwall Moth Group member Bernard Hocking. It is an old fashioned farm, and Bernard manages it very sympathetically for the wildlife. There is a private hide for bird watching overlooking a half-acre pond, surrounded by beautiful gorse and heather moorland. Bernard has been mothing for a number of years now and sometimes hosts moth mornings for local groups, he also contributes to our web site recording pilot project where you can see a list of moths recorded at Rospannel Farm over the last few years. This excellent accommodation consists of a farm cottage that sleeps up to 5, one converted barn that sleeps up to 3 another which sleeps up to 8, and a beautiful farmhouse which offers B&B.
