The New Zealand Common Forest Looper has only been recorded in the UK in the back garden at Greatwork. Five were recorded in 2007, two in 2009, and now this specimen.

Agrotera nemoralis  A nationally rare pyralid moth (RDB1 - endangered) and new to Cornwall (although there is an undated, unsited 19th century reference to "West Cornwall" in the Victoria County History, quoted by Frank Smith in The Butterflies & Moths of Cornwall & IOS).  PB considers this specimen to probably be a migrant.
